I searched about Bacon's Rebellion on the database JSTOR on the Highline Community College library website. The first article I looked at was about the grievances of the inhabitants of the Isle of Wight County. It was also about what happened during Bacon's Rebellion with some of his allies. The second article I looked at was about the relationship between Nathaniel Bacon and the governor and all the problems that happened between them both before and after the rebellion. The third article I looked at was about the history of Bacon's Rebellion and the history of both Nathaniel Bacon and Governor William Berkeley. For the three articles I found, I used the basic search. I search under the phrase "Bacon's Rebellion." I wanted to see what types of articles I would be able to find when I only searched for one item. When I research for this essay again I will use other databases, use the advanced search, and use more specific phrases or words related to Bacon's Rebellion.
